在現實生活裡,無障礙空間可能對一般人沒什麼幫助,不過到了網路裡,我們會發現很多網頁都是很自我主義的,網頁的設計者只從自己設計的點出發,而不太顧及到使用者的想法,這就造成了網頁可能做的很炫很漂亮,但是使用者卻覺得很綁手綁腳,找不到自己想要的資訊.若是在設計網頁的同時,能夠加入一些輔助的工具,如導盲磚或是純文字網站地圖.就可以幫助不只是殘障的同胞,同時也讓一般人都能輕易的在這網站上得到想要的資訊.
